Learning to Look introduces fourth graders to art appreciation through engaging monthly lessons. Students learn to observe and interpret artwork using elements such as color, line, shape and texture, with hands-on projects that reinforce what they learn.
Parent volunteers make the program possible. Volunteers lead lessons in their child's classroom using provided lesson plans and materials. It's a wonderful way to spend time with your child's class and one of our most popular volunteer opportunities.
No art history experience is needed! We provide training, lesson plans and all materials.
