Stamford High School Information Days 8th Graders interested in attending Stamford High School next year is encouraged to attend their community Open House event and their "Be A Black Knight For the Day" to shadow a SHS student for a day. Please see flyer for specific dates and instructions

Next PTO General Meeting Is November 13th

The PTO hosted a parent and resource panel called “Advocating for Your Child with Special Needs” on Oct. 17.  Thank you so much to the panelists: RIS parents Melissa Dobbins and Kristina Adler and SPS parent/CT Parent Advocacy Center representative Lynn Rule.  The panel shared a wealth of knowledge and resources about collaborating on your child’s educational needs.  For more information, contact Celeste Frye-Lintern at cfryelintern@gmail.com and also visit the CPAC website at www.cpacinc.org.

Our next PTO General Meeting will be held on November 13, at 8:45am in the Media Center.  Come have coffee with fellow parents and PTO members, meet members of the RIS community, and learn about how you can help build our school and culture!  

Join Our 2nd Graders For Presentation On Giving Thanks - Nov 20th, 9:30AM

A special presentation from our 2nd Graders for Thanksgiving will be on Wednesday, November 20th at 9:30AM.  All students must wear school Turtle Trot shirts.  The Drama & Art department will provide hats and accessories.
