Come join us for our 2nd Annual Rogers "Who We Are" Community Potluck. An evening of coming together to share our heritage and learn something about what makes our Rogers' community so special! Bring your family and a dish (preferably reflecting your cultural heritage) to share.

In order to allow for a lot of people to sample your dish, please cut them into small serving sizes (like finger foods).

Also, please label your item and list any ingredients that people are often allergic to such as nuts and wheat.

In order to have a variety of side dishes, main dishes and desserts, we have the following suggestions by grade level:

  • Grade K, 1st or 2nd you bring a side dish.

  • Grade 4th or 5th, bring a main dish.

  • Grade 6th, 7th or 8th, bring a dessert.

The PTO will provide water, paper goods, utensils and a limited number of chafing dishes.

We also encourage you to bring in items to display that reflect your heritage such as clothes and flags but please be sure to include an index card explaining what it is and why it is emblematic of the county. For example, A corn husk represents Mexico’s long history with corn. Mexico was the first to domestic the cultivation of corn and used it as food, fuel, & even roofing materials.

Please also consider helping with setup and clean up :)
