RIS PTO Positions Still Open 9/1/18

Want to help our Rogers students and community? Want to be "in the know" on school news? Then join the PTO Board of Directors! We have several open positions that we need to fill. Contact Jill Luciani Bouchard if you are interested or have questions on what's involved in the role.

  • Vice-President Lower School: Assist the president in organizing board meetings, provide guidance and assistance to chairs of activities related to the lower school.

  • Fundraising Co-Chair: Work with co-chair to identify and execute four to five fundraisers throughout the year including catalogue sales, family portrait sittings and the Rogers Gala.

  • Lower School Teacher Rep: Attend board meetings and provide input as needed. (RIS lower school teacher only)

  • School Uniform Store: We are also looking for someone to take over management of the store. No experience necessary! We have all the supplier contacts and can guide you through the process for the first few months. Contact LisaTV7@yahoo.com for more info.

Want to still stay involved but not quite ready to tackle a board position? We hear ya! Consider signing up for a committee or essential member position:

  • Gala Committee: Our Fall Gala is scheduled for Friday, Nov 30th, and we could really use your help! This fundraising event is our biggest of the year, and has the potential to generate tremendous amount of funding for our student activities for the rest of the school year.

  • Please help us plan, organize, and bedazzle us with your creativity and enthusiasm to make this year's Fall Gala a tremendous success. Some duties include (but not limited to): help plan/organize the raffle baskets, help solicit business donations for our silent auctions, organize/plan the venue setup, etc.

  • Editor of the Current: Make edits to the newsletter on a rotation basis. The more volunteers we have, the less you will have to work! No experience necessary, you will get full training on how to get the articles updated.

  • Room parents: read more here

If none of these options appeal to you, no worries! You can enter your information into our volunteer sheet instead, so we can alert of you upcoming volunteering opportunities. You can then choose as much (or little) as you want. Any time you can contribute is truly appreciated, and as an added bonus, you get to have fun hanging out with a bunch of great people!
